About Us
Captain Connor
The Good Ship is an ice cream boat serving Little Sebago Lake in Maine. It was founded in 2015 by Joe Newlin who drew inspiration from the legendary ice cream boat of years past, “Jake On The Lake.” Joe partnered with Gelato Fiasco to bring a new twist to the ice cream boat idea. Joe retired at the end of the 2018 season leaving Shaun and Shannon as the new captains of the Good Ship. Shaun & Shannon set the bar high, delighting you all with amazing ice cream and impeccable service that left smiles. Now, in 2024, Connor has stepped aboard the Good Ship. As the new captain, his mission is to continue enhancing lakeside life, while infusing his own unique flair into the Good Ship's storied history. Get ready to embark on a journey where every moment is savored with delight.
